Does physical activity performed by New Zealand women during recreation time meet physical activity guidelines and improve markers of body composition and metabolic health?

      Current physical activity (PA) guidelines aimed at reducing disease risk and improving long-term health recommend both aerobic and resistance exercise. Hence, this study aimed to identify the recreational physical activities performed by New Zealand women, and to examine their relationship with body composition and markers of metabolic health, to determine if certain recreational activities might be particularly protective to health.
